iLock™ interface

Locked-in precision, rigid and stable for a consistent accurate performance. A key feature to the success of this cutter is its unique iLock interface. The problem with axial cutting forces is the Achilles heel for other long edge cutters, but the design of the CoroMill 690 provides the essential resistance to these forces.

Coolant supply; vital for titanium milling

CoroMill 690 is designed with end coolant providing the best chip evacuation when face and shoulder milling whether cavity or pocket milling.

During cutting, the chips can be prone to sticking to the cutting edge. This means that the next cutter rotation is re-cutting the chip. By equipping every insert pocket with threaded coolant holes with nozzles for High Pressure coolant delivery, you can apply maximum coolant where required. This effectively eliminates the problem for a constant cutting edge performance.

Cutters available in diameters 2.000 - 3.000" (50-100 mm).

Grades GC1030 and GC2040 in –SL geometry, optimized for edging in titanium.
