CoroMill 345 is a new 45-degree face mill providing the best cost efficiency on the market. Designed primarily for high performance milling when machining small to medium depths of cut in steel.

It provides the high security and predictability needed for unmanned production capability to give problem-free machining and reduce unplanned downtime.

Unique design with fixed pocket and shim
CoroMill 345 has a unique design with fixed pocket and shim for best security and protection. The shims have four strategic support islands that optimize the support face between the shim and the insert, giving the best performance and solid support during machining. This makes the CoroMill 345 operator friendly and also results in full cutting-edge backing, insert-seat stability and will protect the cutter body if the insert breaks.

Unique eight-edge insert
CoroMill 345 is equipped with a double-sided insert with four edges on each side. The double-sided inserts provide the best economy and productivity.


Real-life efficiency

Utilizing the new CoroMill 345 face milling cutter with the new M-PL geometry for a finishing application, the tool life and productivity was increased.

Coolant supply
CoroMill 345 (up to diameter 125 mm) has coolant supply to each insert pocket ensuring good chip evacuation for the best performance when machining demanding materials.



Additional pitch alternative
CoroMill 345 has been developed for maximum machine utilization (power and torque) due to the extended pitch option.

We are now introducing the extra HX pitch in addition to the previous L, M and H pitches. The L and M have differential pitch for reducing vibrations and generating good surface finish in roughing to semi-finishing applications.
