Get the first hole right

Our unique concept of high quality carbide drills offers high-precision drilling in any kind of material — with maximum production economy! CoroDrill® Delta-C is designed for holes when close tolerances are the key requisite. Our high technology substrates and coatings as well as the small radial run-out and tight symmetry of the drill guarantees consistent high performance.

Full control

By controlling every step in the production chain, from powder to finsihed drill, we always guarantee consistent performance, predictable tool-life and fast delivery time. Combined with CoroGrip high precision chuck you will get the optimized solution — from the spindle to the chip!

Keep productivity on top!

The self-centering drill
– allows high feeds and speeds
– needs no pre-drilling or centering
– gives tight tolerance holes with good surface finish

Grades

Grade 1210 - dedicated for cast iron
A first choice for drilling in all common types of cast iron. New wear resistant carbide grade and coating combined with a unique geometry allows extremely high cutting speeds even in hard wearing cast irons such as nodular and compacted graphite irons.

Grade H10F - for small diameters down to 0.3 mm
Uncoated grade with external coolant supply dedicated for small part machining components.

Grade 1220 – the all-round grade for most materials now extended with chamfer drills with internal coolant
Makes your hole making process even safer in a wider application area. GC1220 has an excellent balance between toughness and wear resistance and the strong multi-layer coating contributes to edge security and a longer tool life.

Grade N20D – precision drilling in Aluminium
The unique cutting geometry of the new R850 solid carbide drill produces burrfree precision holes faster. Save costs and avoid regrinding problems by replacing your Poly Crystalline Diamond (PCD) drills.

GC1210First choice for all types of cast iron incl. compacted graphite iron (CGI) .
GC1220 First choice for steel, stainless steels and cast iron. Use with internal cutting fluid.
H10F, GC1020Small Part Machining drills
N20D First choice for Aluminium with a Silicon content up to 12%.
Use with internal cutting fluid.

Cutting data are delivered with the tool. For more specific cutting data, ask for CD CoroGuide Solid Tools.

Stepped and chamfered holes

Makes more holes faster — with less tools — and reduces the cost per hole. CoroDrill Delta-C® carbide drills are available in the diameter range 3-16 mm with hole depths up to 5 x
D for chamfer drills and 6 x D for step drills.

For larger holes we offer Coromant U indexable insert drills in diameters from 12.7- 58 mm. With Coromant U you can drill chamfered and stepped holes in one single pass!
