Basic grades for CoroThread 266
GC1135
The GC1135 grade has fine-grained cemented carbide with necessary toughness for threading in difficult materials. Its unique PVD-TiAIN based coating adds wear resistance and edge line security.

GC1125

New PVD-TiAIN-based coating and substrate combine to improve wear resistance and security for threading, providing the option of running at higher cutting speeds or for a longer time in cut.


Complementary grades for CoroThread 266 and T-Max U-Lock
GC1020

A PVD TiN coated grade in the ISO P20 and M20 areas and ISO K15. It combines the superior wear resistance of a coated grade with the edge sharpness and toughness of an uncoated grade. An excellent all round grade, particularly recommended for use in stainless and low carbon steels.

GC4125
A PVD TiAlN coated grade in the ISO P15, M15 and K15 areas. The grade has high wear resistance at high cutting speeds and long cutting times. Most suitable for threading in steel, but works also good in stainless steel and cast iron.


H13A is an uncoated grade with extreme edge sharpness in the ISO K20 area, suitable for chilled cast iron, cast iron and aerospace materials.

CB20 - Cubic Boron Nitride
The hardest known material, after diamond. It is recommended primarily for finishing operations in hardened materials. When using grade CB20, max. infeed value should be 0.07 mm.
