Strength and stillness at the cutting edge

High precision threading performance is essential for the oil, gas and mechanical engineering sectors. A stable threading tool and cutting edge which remains rigid in extreme forces, is vital for this precision.

Sandvik Coromant now launches CoroThread™ 266, a group of ultra-rigid threading tools, benefitting from new threading technology to give the insert ultra-high stability and limit movement in the holder pocket. This stability is achieved with an iLock interface between insert-shim and tool holder pocket.
