Boring Tools
Fine boring head 391.37A

The program consists of boring heads, dedicated boring bars and sleeves for finish boring of diameters 3-42 mm.

The fine boring heads have a scale-disc and a vernier. When the scale-disc is turned one (1) division, the diameter is changed 0.01 mm. By using the vernier the diameter can be set to 0.002 mm.

Boring bars
There are four shank sizes 12, 16, 20 and 25 mm available with seats for CoroTurn 107 and CoroTurn 111 inserts.

Bars have entering angles of 90 and 92 degrees to enable fine boring against a shoulder.

Shanks 16, 20 and 25 mm have a scribed circle indicating min clamping length, (max overhang).

When the sleeve is used one of the clamping screws is clamping directly on the surface of the sleeve, while the other is going through the sleeve, clamping on the surface of the bar.
