Milling

Steel, cast iron – CoroMill® 490 at your service

CoroMill 490 – the first of a new generation of precise milling tools – can increase productivity in shallow cut face and shoulder milling for small/medium batch operations by 100 per cent. New additions to the range are available with products for ISO K cast iron applications and a complete range for ISO P steel.

CoroMill 490 gives lower tool costs and inventories, greater flexibility, higher precision and better tolerances. It uses four-edge inserts with light cutting, a result of innovative insert geometry with new generation, high performance grades. These require less force for cutting, give sharper edge lines and a smoother profile for less finishing. This is the first cutter with true 90 degree cuts without sharp steps.
